Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 5, 2000, for 66-year-old Fred H. Gross of Bloomsdale who died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000 at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

He was born on December 8, 1933 in St. Louis, the son of the late Fred Gross and Francis J. Walters.

He was married on September 11, 1954 to Mary Ann Noll. She survives.

Children surviving are Fred E. Gross, John E. Gross and Katherine Vineyard, all of Bloomsdale; and Mary Ann, Mrs. Brant Walter of Alton, Ill.;

One brother, Carl Peltz, survives in Columbia, Mo., and one sister Patricia, Mrs. Ted Lato, survives in Hillsboro.

Eight grandchildren survive:

Jake, Samantha and Fred G. Gross, Marissa and Katie Vineyard, Brittney and Lindsey Gross, all of Bloomsdale; and Isabell Walker of Alton, Ill.

Visitation will be Friday after 3 p.m. at the Basler Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Fred H. Gross will be held Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000 at 10 a.m. at the Basler Funeral Home. Deacon Jim Basler will officiate. Burial in the Concord Cemetery in Bloomsdale.

Memorial preference is to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital Oncology Department.
