George S. Kuehl

Funeral service will be held Monday, Feb. 28, 2000 for 90-year-old George S. Kuehl of Ste. Genevieve who died Wed., Feb. 23, 2000 at Riverview Manor Nursing Home.

He was born on July 30, 1909 in Decatur, Ill., the son of the late George H. Kuehl and Martha Mae Lemmon.

He was married to Eleanora E. (Abramczys) Kuehl. She preceded him in death.

Children surviving are: George J. Kuehl of Memphis, Tenn.; James Kuehl of Ste. Genevieve; Robert E. Kuehl of Ste. Genevieve; Mary Ann Carroll of Jefferson City; Lillian Ryan of St. Louis. One daughter-in-law, Judy Kuehl, survives in St. Louis.

Twenty-two grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren also survive.

One son, Richard Kuehl, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000 at the Basler Funeral Home.

Funeral service for George S. Kuehl will be held Monday, Feb. 28, 2000 at 10 a.m. at Church of Ste. Genevieve. Rev. John Deken will officiate. Burial in the National Cemetery at Jeferson Barracks, Mo.

Memorials may go to the Valle Schools Foundation or to Shrine of St. Joseph in St. Louis.
