A funeral was held Monday, December 4th for 95-year-old Alfred E. Govro of Ste. Genevieve who died Saturday, December 2nd at the Ste. Genevieve Care Center.

He was born May, 17th, 1905 in River aux Vases, the son of Eli and Mary Shuh Jokerst Govro who both preceded in death.

He married Grace Govro. She preceded in death.

He married Roseline Govro. She preceded in death.

He was also preceded in death by a sister and several half-brothers and half-sisters.

He was a work superintendent at the Veterans Administration National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis.

He was a member of the Church of Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 95-year-old Alfred E. Govro of Ste. Genevieve was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 4th at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. Burial will be in the Valle Spring Cemetery. The Rev. John Deken will officiate.
