Funeral service will be held Sunday, Aug. 20, 2000 for 82-year-old Rita M. Haug of Ste. Genevieve who died Friday, Aug. 18, 2000 at her residence.

She was born on May 22, 1919 in Ste. Genevieve, the daughter of the late Matthew J. Bahr and Cora Naumann.

She was married to Earl D. Haug. He preceded her in death.

Children surviving are Greg Haug of Jefferson City; Joseph Haug of St. Charles; Matt Haug of Bonne Terre; Paul Haug of Zell; Barb Buchanan of Olathe, Kan.; Mary Henderson of Broomfield, Col.; and Cathy Miller of Fruitland.

Twenty grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.

She was a member of Sodality of Mary, VFW Auxiliary Post 2210.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20, 2000 at the Basler Funeral Home. The Sodality of Mary will meet at 4:30 p.m. for the Rosary. The VFW Auxiliary will meet at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral service for Rita M. Haug will be held Monday, Aug. 21, 2000 at 10 a.m. at Church of Ste. Genevieve. Rev. John Deken will officiate.

Burial will be in the Valle Spring cemetery.
