A funeral will be held Saturday, August 19 for 86-year-old Austin L. Gegg of Ste. Genevieve who died Thursday, August 17th at the Scenic View Nursing Center in Herculaneum.

He was born March 16th, 1914 in Coffman, the son of Lawrence Gegg and Elinora Rottler Gegg who both preceded in death.

He married Martha Kreitler. She preceded in death.

He is survived by one brother: Quinton Gegg of Coffman and one sister: Bernice Jokerst of Ste. Genevieve.

Two sisters also preceded him in death: Marceline Maxson and Helen Gegg.

He was a farmer.

Visitation will be this (Friday, August 18th) evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.

A funeral for 86-year-old Austin L. Gegg of Ste. Genevieve will be held at noon Saturday, August 19th, at the Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to masses.
