Rev. Alexander W. Lippert Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2000 for 72-year-old Rev. Alexander W. Lippert who died April 16, 2000 at DePaul Community Health Care Center. He was born on July 14, 1927 in St. Louis, the son of the late Charles Lippert and Theresa Forner. One sister, Virginia Lippert, survives in St. Charles, Mo. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. He was ordained as a priest on March 17, 1956. He served the following parishes: Holy Guardian Angels; St. Theresa of Avila; St. Ferdinand; St. Paul the Apostle; Basilica of St. Louis; St. Thomas of Aquin; St. Ambrose; and was pastor of St. Catherine of Alexandria at Coffman. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 19, 2000 at 9:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Ozora. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 19, 200 at Sacred Heart Church at 11 a.m. Rev. James Schaafer will officiate. Burial will be in the Resurrection Cemetery in Affton, Mo. Memorials are preferred to Masses. Basler Funeral is in charge of arrangements. |
