Roy F. Kemper A funeral service was scheduled to be held Tuesday, September 7th, for 64-year-old Roy F. Kemper of Hillsboro who died Saturday at Hillsboro. He was born October 17, 1934 in Lawrenceton, the son of Anton and Pansy (Weber) Kemper who both preceded in death. He married Jacqueline "Jackie" Hogenmiller in 1956 in Weingarten. She survives. He is also survived by five sons: Rodger (Teresa) Kemper of Festus, Douglas (Teresa) Kemper of Dittmer, Derrick (Rhonda) of Bonne Terre, Jayson (Kimberly) of Victoria and Lance (Christine) of Crystal City. Two daughters also survive him: Rosalyn "Lyn" (Ron) Johnston of De Soto and Wendy Kemper of Bloomsdale. Three brothers survive: Earl Kemper of Weingarten, Bernard (Evelyn) Kemper of Weingarten and Perry (Nancy) Kemper of De Soto. Three sisters survive: Maryann Frazier of Festus, Bernadine (William) Beckemeyer of Crystal City, and Pansy (Norman) Meyer of Ste. Genevieve, and Viola (Art) Meyer of Ste. Genevieve. He is also survived 15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. One brother and two sisters also preceded in death. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Church of Hillsboro and was employed as a crane operator with Shapiro Brothers. Friends may call from 3 - 8 pm today, at the Mahn Twin City Chapel, in Festus. A funeral was scheduled to be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, for 64-year-old Roy F. Kemper of Hillsboro at the Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Avenue, Festus. Burial was scheduled to be held in the Good Shepherd Catholic Church Cemetery in Hillsboro. The Rev. Mike Dieckman was scheduled to officiate.
