A funeral service will be held on Friday Sept. 24, 1999, for 68 year - old Dorothy M. Jokerst formerly of Ozora, who died Wednesday. Born on Apr. 29, 1931, in Ste. Genevieve, the daughter of Anthony and Mary (Steimle) Jokerst, who both preceded in death. She is survived by 2 nieces, 6 nephews, 1 sister-in-law, 19 great nieces & nephews, and 19 great-great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two brothers, and one nephew. Visitation will be at Basler Funeral Home on Thursday, starting at 4pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday at the Sacred Heart Church in Ozora at 10:30. The Rev. James Schaefer will officiate, and burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Ozora. Memorial preferences can be made to the Humane Society. |
