Edith Beckerman

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday for 86-year-old Edith Beckerman, of Ste. Genevieve, who died Thursday.

Born on June 16, 1913 in Pueblo, CO, the daughter of Anthony and Anna (Faulk) Baum. She married Ralph R. Beckerman in 1936, and he preceded in death in 1990.

Surviving are four sons; William Beckerman of Ste. Genevieve, Joseph Beckerman of Kansas City, Ralph (Bo) Beckerman Jr. of Ste. Genevieve and James Beckerman of Ste. Genevieve. Three daughters survive; Barbara Roselan of Thousand Oaks, CA, Mary Lexa of Forrest, VA, Anne Ross of Barnhart, as well as two sisters; Elizabeth Rehm of Ste. Genevieve and Genevieve Race of Denver, CO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, and four sisters.

She was a former member of the Woman's Club and was a registered nurse. Mrs. Beckerman's donated her body to the St. Louis University School of medicine.

A funeral mass for Edith Beckerman of Ste. Genevieve will be on Saturday at 10am, at the Church of Ste. Genevieve.
