Lillian Lanning

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 15th, 1999, for 98-year-old Lillian Lanning, of Ste. Genevieve, who died Monday.

She was born May 25th, 1901, in Ste. Genevieve, the daughter of Anton and Mary (Jokerst) Weiler. She married Richard Lanning M.D. is Ste. Gen, in 1929, and he preceded in death in 1975.

She is survived by one daughter; Diane Maginn, of St. Louis, one sister; Loretto Rozier, of San Francisco, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one son.

She was a member of the Church of Ste. Genevieve, Queen's Daughters, and Ste. Gen's Womans Club.

Visitation will be on Thursday, from 6 - 8pm, at the Basler Funeral Home, in Ste. Genevieve. A funeral service for Lillian Lanning, of Ste. Genevieve, will be on Friday at 11am, at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. John Deken will officiate, and burial will be in the Valle Spring Cemetery.
