Ted C. Bloom Jr.

Funeral service will be held Monday for 50-year-old Ted C. Bloom Jr. of Perryville who died today (Friday) at John Cochran’s V.A. Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born on Jan. 30, 1949 in Ste. Genevieve, the son of the late Ted C. Bloom Sr. and Lena Leotta Adams Bloom.

He was married to Connie Collins. She survives in Perryville.

One daughter, Nacona Darlene Bloom, survives in Perryville.

One brother and four sisters survive: Sidney J. Bloom of Avon, Mo.; Alice L. Sales of Perryville; Shirley A. Jones of Waterloo, Ill.; Mary S. Thompson of Perryville; and Nova T. Thomure of Perryville.

One sister, Lucille Griffard, preceded him in death.

He was a Navy veteran serving in Vietnam. He was a truck driver.

Visitation will be Sunday from 6-9:30 p.m. and Monday from 6:30 a.m. until time of service at the Miller Family Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Ted C. Bloom will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Miller Family Funeral Home. Rev. Lane Stockton will officiate. Burial in the Whitewater Christian Cemetery.
