William E. Kreitler A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 26th, 1999 for 82-year-old William E. Kreitler of New Offenburg who died Saturday, May 23rd at his residence. He was born September 7th, 1916 in River aux Vases, the son of Severin and Anna (La Porte) Kreitler, who preceded in death. He married Thelma Kathleen Walls on October 16th, 1969 at Weingarten. She survives in New Offenburg. He is also survived by a son, William Kreitler, of Bloomsdale and two daughters: Judy Brown of Ste. Genevieve and Doris Meyer of New Offenburg. Two brothers and two sisters also survive: Ben Kreitler of Ste. Genevieve, Richard Kreitler of Farmington, Pauline Payne of St. Louis and Mary Ann Bennett of Knob Noster. He is also survived by a stepson, Robert Williams, of Farmington and a stepdaughter, Regina Johnson, of Bloomsdale. Seven grandchildren, seven step grandchildren, one great-grand child and 15 step-great-grandchildren also survive. Two brothers and one sister also preceded in death. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ste. Genevieve, American Legion in Ste. Genevieve and a former member of the Civilian Conservation Corps. He was a general contractor. Visitation after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. American Legion service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service for 82-year-old William E. Kreitler of New Offenburg will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Ste. Genevieve. Burial in the Crestlawn Cemetery. The Rev. Roger Faulkner will officiate. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund. |
