Raymond W. "Biscuit" Litterest A funeral service will be held Tuesday for 83-year-old Raymond W. "Biscuit" Litterest of Minnith who died Saturday at his residence. He was born July 9, 1915 in Minnith, the son of Valentine and Mary Caroline (Schaaf) Litterest, who both preceded in death. He married Virginia L. Linderer on October 10, 1946. She preceded in death. He is survived by two sons: Donnie Litterest of Youngstown, Ohio and Gary Litterest of Minnith. He is also survived by three daughters: Shirley Christisen and Carol White, both of Minnith and Mary Bahr of Ste. Genevieve. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one grandchild, two great-grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters, two of whom died in infancy. He was employed in maintenance. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Ozora and VFW Post 2210 in Ste. Genevieve. Visitation after 3 today (Monday) at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. VFW service at 7 tonight (Monday) at the funeral home. A funeral service for 83-year-old Raymond W. "Biscuit" Litterest of Minnith will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church in Ozora. Burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. James Schaefer will officiate. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
