Elvis J. Esselman A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 1st for 76-year-old Elvis J. Esselman, formerly of St. Mary who died Monday. He was born October 1st, 1922 in St. Mary, the son of Earl and Emily Esselman who both preceded in death. He married Rosalie Bienlien Esselman. She survives in Indianapolis. Also surviving are three sons: Ronnie, Jim and Bill. Two sisters also survive: Eloise Schaaf of Ste. Genevieve and Matilda Swink of Evansville, Illinois. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was vice-president and estimator for James H. Drew Corporation, Missouri Division, for 44 years before retiring in 1989. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Indianapolis and the Associated General Contractors of Missouri. Visitation Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. at the Stevens Mortuary in Indianapolis, Indiana. A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 1st, at 10 a.m., at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Indianapolis for 76-year-old Elvis Esselman, formerly of St. Mary. Entombment in the Calvary Cemetery, Indianapolis. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. |
