Alfred Lause Funeral services will be held Monday, for 77 year - old Alfred Lause (LAWS) of Ste. Genevieve, who died today (Friday) in Festus. Born on January 19, 1922 in Washington, Mo., the son of Joseph and Anna (Elbert) Lause, he married Rita Greminger in 1946, and she preceded in death in 1976. He is survived by 4 sons; Gilbert Lause of Mount Vernon, Rev. Richard Lause C.M. of Perryville, Rodney Lause of St. Louis, and Dwayne Lause of Ste. Genevieve. One daughter survives, LeeLonie Basler of Camenton, Mo. One brother survives; Frank Lause of Washington, Mo., and one sister survives; Adelea Buersmeyer of Washington, Mo. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great - grand- children. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and 4 brothers. He was a member of American Legion Post #2210 and a past Commander of VFW #150, in Ste. Genevieve. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and Ste. Genevieve Jaycees. Visitation will be on Sunday at Stanton - Wood Mortuary from 4 - 8 pm. Services for the American Legion and VFW will be on Sunday at pm. Funeral mass for Alfred Lause will be at 10 am Monday at Ste. Genevieve Catholic Church. The Rev. Fr. Richard Lause and Deacon George Wood will officiate, and burial will be at Valle Springs Catholic Cemetery. Memorials preferences can be made to masses, or the VFW Cancer Fund. |
