A funeral will be held Wednesday, June 30th, for 101-year-old Elizabeth M. Jacob of Ste. Genevieve who died Sunday, June 27th, at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

She was born September 28, 1897 in Ste. Genevieve, the daughter of Joseph Bahr and Josephine (Geiler) Bahr who both preceded in death.

She married William Gisi in 1920, he preceded in death in 1924.

She married Anthony Jacob in 1927. He preceded in death in 1951.

She is survived by two sons: Thomas Jacob and Anthony Jacob, both of Ste. Genevieve and one daughter: Wilma Zarinelli of Ste. Genevieve.

She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by a son, a daughter, three brothers and four sisters.

She was a member of the Church of Ste. Genevieve and Queen's Daughters in Ste. Genevieve.

She was a housewife.

Visitation after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 101-year-old Elizabeth M. Jacob of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. Burial in the Valle Spring Cemetery. The Rev. John Deken will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Church of Ste. Genevieve Restoration Fund or to Valle Schools Foundation.
