Raymond A. Miesner

A funeral will be held Thursday, June 24th, 1999 for 71-year-old Raymond A. Miesner of Frohna, who died Monday, June 21st at his home.

He was born September 5th, 1927 in Farrar, the son of Ernst and Anna (Lohmann) Miesner who preceded in death.

He married LaVerne O. Leimbach on October 13th, 1951, she preceded in death.

He is survived by four daughters and four sons: Kathleen and Tracy Cassoute, Janice and Mark Martyn, and Linda and Edward Richardet all of Perryville; Cindy and Gary Jones of Uniontown; and Ricky and Elaine Miesner, Richard and Sandy Miesner, Terry Miesner and Mike Miesner all of Frohna.

He is also survived by two sisters and two brothers: Erna Miesner of Perryville and Adelma Mueller, Edmund Miesner and Theodore Miesner, all of Frohna.

He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and two step grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

He was agriculture and livestock farmer and was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 23rd from 5-9 p.m. and Thursday, June 24th from 6:30-8:15 a.m. at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 71-year-old Raymond A. Miesner of Frohna will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar. The Rev. Robert Schneider will officiate.

Memorials are preferred to the Salem Lutheran Church cemetery or to a charity of your choice.
