A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 19th, for 109-year-old Lena Gisi, who died Thursday, June 17th at Riverview Manor Nursing Home.

She was born November 11, 1889 in Sainte Genevieve, the daughter of Joseph Hoffman and Elizabeth Roth Hoffman who both preceded in death.

She married Marion Eugene Gisi on June 29, 1919. He preceded in death.

She is survived by two daughters: Eugenia Ferguson of Spring Hill, Fla. and Venus Frissell of Ste. Genevieve.

Four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.

Three brothers and two sisters also preceded in death.

She was a homemaker and member of the Chaffee VFW Post 3127 Auxiliary, the Chaffee American Legion Post 389 Auxiliary, Chaffee Senior Citizens and Chaffee Retired Senior Volunteer Program.

A graveside service for 109-year-old Lena Gisi of Ste. Genevieve, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Watis Harrell will officiate.

Funeral arrangements handled by the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
