Erwin L. Bohnert
A funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb. 25 for 42-year-old Erwin L. Bohnert of Bloomsdale who died Sunday. 
He was born December 19, 1956 in Perryville, the son of Ernest C. and Bernice Griep Bohnert-Keller of Pevely. His father preceded in death. His mother survives. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Hubert Keller.
He married Sandra Bonney who preceded in death.
He is survived by one son, Erwin J. Bohnert of Bloomsdale.
He is also survived by five brothers and five sisters: Judith Kester, Edwin Bohnert, Ethan Bohnert and Jayne Hill, all of Bloomsdale; Janette Nolan of Wentzville, Eldon Bohnert and Elbert Bohnert, both of Perryville; Jo Ann Craft of Bartlett, Tenn.; Ernest Borgen of Champlin, Minn.; and Jennifer Baker of St. Mary.
He is also survived by three step brothers and two step sisters: Jerry Keller of Collinsville, Ill.; Hubert Keller Jr. of Hillsboro; Susan Keller and William Keller, both of Horine; and Norma Jean Jones of St. Louis.
Two step grandchildren also survive.
He was also preceded in death by a sister and stepsister.
He was a big St. Louis Blues hockey fan.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 24, from 4-9 p.m. and Thursday from 6:30-9:30 a.m. at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish wake service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
A funeral mass for 42-year-old Erwin L. Bohnert of Bloomsdale will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Fausz C.M., officiating.
Memorials are preferred for family use.
