Harold B. Edler Funeral services will be held Feb. 21 1999, for 77 year - old Harold B. Edler, of Ste. Genevieve, who died Feb. 18..Born July 29, 1921 in Cora, Illinois, he was the son of Ben and Anna Bodecker. His father proceeded him in death. He married Dorothy Bartels June 12, 1945 in Chester, and she survives. Other survivors include his mother, one daughter: Sharron Thurlkill of Dallas, Texas, and one sister: Liela Mae Boldery of Cape Girardeau. Also one grandson, and one great - grandchild survives. He was preceded in death by his father and one daughter: Karen Edler. Mr. Edler belonged to Holy Cross Lutheran, in Ste. Genevieve, and also to American Legion Post 150, of Ste. Genevieve. Visitation will be Saturday, after 4 p.m., and also Sunday from 8am till 1pm, at the Basler Funeral Home, in Ste. Genevieve. VFW and American Legion visitation will be at 7pm Saturday. A funeral service for Harold B. Edler will be held 2:30 Sunday afternoon, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. The Rev. Richard Thur will officiate, and burial will be at Evergreen Cemetary.
