A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 11th, 1999, for 84-year-old Andrew Herter, of St. Mary's, who died Thursday.

Born on January 27th, 1915, the son of Victor and Catherine (Glaser) Herter, who preceded in death.

He is survived by a sister; Ruth Portell, of Ste. Genevieve.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and one brother.

He was a member of the American Legion Post #150 and the V.F. W. Post #2210.

Visitation will be on Saturday, from 9 - 11am, at Stanton - Wood Mortuary. A funeral service for Andrew Herter, of St. Marys, will be on Saturday, at 11am, at Stanton - Wood Mortuary. The Rev. George Wood will officiate and burial will be in the Valle Springs Cemetery.
