William F. Graves A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, August 31st, for 65-year-old William F. Graves of Ste. Genevieve who died Sunday at Riverview Manor Nursing Home. He was born January 16, 1915 in River aux Vases, the son of Frank Graves and Mary G. Gegg who both preceded in death. He married Margaret Vogt on November 29th, 1944. She preceded in death. He married Ellen T. Herman on May 20, 1983. She survives. The following children survive him: Norma (Mrs. Michael J.) Nisbet of St. Louis, Larry and Elaine Graves of Defiance, Jerry and Kim Graves of Festus and Kevin and Lisa Graves of Imperial. Nine grandchildren also survive him. A brother, Raymond, also preceded him in death. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and Ste. Genevieve County ASCS. He was an associate county judge in Ste. Genevieve for 10 years and also served as a county commissioner. Visitation will be this (Monday) evening from 5-9 p.m. at the Stanton Wood Mortuary. A funeral mass for 65-year-old William F. Graves will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 31st at the Saints Phillip and James Church in River aux Vases. He will be buried in the church cemetery. The Rev. Joseph Reilly will officiate. Memorials may be made to masses or to the Alzheimer's Association. |
