Mary Lou Donze

Funeral service will be held Thursday, Aug. 19, 1999 for 70-year-old Mary Lou Donze of Weingarten who died Monday at her residence.

She was born on March 3, 1929 in Zell, Mo., the daughter of the late Felix and Elvina (Gremminger) Palmer.

She was married to Bernard "Nick" Donze. He survives in Ste. Genevieve.

The following children survive:

Martin Donze of Houston, Tex.; Nick Donze of St. Charles, Mo.; and Elaine, Mrs. Bill Tlapek of Ste. Genevieve.

Brothers and sisters surviving are: Jonas Palmer and Tim Palmer, both of Zell; Angela, Mrs. Frank Kuehn, and Catherine, Mrs. Earl Basler, both of Ste. Genevieve; and Vera, Mrs. Roy Ziegelmeyer of Arnold, Mo.

Five grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Royce Palmer, and one sister, Vina Filer.

She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Western Catholic Union, Sodality of Mary, a choir member and a member of the Ste. Genevieve Golf Club.

Visitation will be Wednesday after 4 p.m. at the Basler Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Mary Lou Donze will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Help of Christians Church. Rev. John Suren officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Masses, the American Cancer Society, or Ste. Genevieve Hospice.
